Sydney West Athletics Championships

The Sydney West Athletics Championships were staged at Blacktown International Sports Park on Thursday 2^nd August and Friday 3^rd August.

Annaliese Xerri                  2^nd 13 years Long Jump

Kiara Arnold                       3^rd 14 years Shot Put

Brock Hawley                     4^th 13 years Discus

Jacinta Packer                    3^rd 13 years Javelin, 9^th Shot Put

Bridgette Williams            6^th 15 years Triple Jump

Jayden Galea                     16^th 13 years Shot Put

Neven Pavlicevic              12^th 13 years Discus

Girls 17 years Relay         5^th

Caitlyn broke two records in the 200m and 400m, (the 200m record had stood for 36 years) and she was runner up in the 16years Age Championship

Caitlyn, Jack, Annaliese, Bianca and Brock will now represent Sydney West at the NSW CHS Athletics Championships in September. Well done to all the competitors, especially the 5 going to the CHS carnival
