Our extra-curricular highlights
Rural fire service cadets
Hawkesbury High School proudly hosted the graduation ceremony for its NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) Cadet program. The program, which ran during sport time throughout term 2 and 3, provided students with valuable hands-on experience and training in fire behaviour, RFS emergency response and Standard Operating Procedures.
A big thank you to all the Hawkesbury brigades that volunteered their time, and a special thank you to Phil Hurst, Peter Jones and Jon Ingersole for their time throughout the program this year.
Creative and performing arts
The CAPA faculty proudly hosts the annual Hawkesbury High School Creative and Performing Arts Night, celebrating student talent across all art forms. Students also engage in art showcases, competitions, and collaborative mural projects that brighten our school and community spaces.
Great Aussie Bush Camp
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. Our Year 7 students attended the Great Aussie Bush Camp earlier this year and participated in a variety of outdoor activities.
