40 Hawkesbury High students participated in this years Australian Mathematics competition. The competition is run for students across Australia and a few overseas countries. Students complete problem solving questions that cover a range of ability levels.

"The questions start real easy and I don't need to think much, then they get difficult and challenging."

"I always love a good challenge and this Maths competition was a big one."

"Its a great competition that is fun and challenging."

What teachers said:

All the students tried hard and attempted the questions with a great attitude. They knew it was going to be hard towards the end but persisted anyway.
