TAFE teacher Kathy Reidy came to school to talk to interested students about the many career options available working with animals.
Students learned about how to get qualifications through VET and TAFE courses from Certificate to Diploma level. They were encouraged to follow their passion for animals and pursue a career in this field.
Many of our students have gained experience in work and caring for animals as part of the Positive Paws project with Guide Dogs NSW/ACT, at home, part time work or equestrian sports.
This prior experience is recognised by potential employers.
Interested students are encouraged to attend the TAFE NSW OPEN DAY at TAFE Richmond College on August 18th.
Students said “This was a great presentation. I am looking forward to learning more at the TAFE Open Day. Thanks Kathy”
